MH FacTOURy Summit Speakers
Keynote Speaker
U. S. Senator Todd Young (R-Indiana)
U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Indiana) will be the featured speaker at the August 20, 2024, MH FacTOURy Summit Educational Seminar at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana.
Senator Young is the Co-Author of the YES IN MY BACKYARD ACT, known as the YIMBY Act. Affordable housing advocates have spent the past decade fighting their battles at the state and local levels, pushing to loosen strict zoning rules they argue have led to a national home affordability crisis.
Thanks to Senator Young, the movement may be quietly inching closer to its biggest win yet on Capitol Hill as the House Financial Services Committee unanimously approved the bipartisan YIMBY Act which would require many localities that receive federal money to report what steps they’re taking to spur further housing development.
